Colin’s, a rapidly growing retail chain in Egypt, opened its 16th store at Cairo Festival City Mall. Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen confirmed that Turkish retail chains are rapidly expanding and growing in Egypt.

The well-known Colin’s chain, which manufactures in Turkey and Egypt, opened its 16th store at Cairo Festival City Mall.

The store opening was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen, Cairo Festival City Mall managers, and senior Colin’s executives. The Festival City store is one of the largest Colin’s stores in Egypt, covering an area of 750 square meters.

Colin’s officials explained that all products in the store are designed in Turkey as Turkish products and with Turkish brands. They are specially produced in Turkey, Egypt, and various regions of the world. These stores are sold only under the Colin’s brand, and they deliver Turkish quality and branding.

Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen stated that Colin’s, along with LC Waikiki and Defacto, opened their stores in Egypt with 100% Turkish investment. They were directly managed by their parent companies in Turkey, from design to production.

He said he hopes Colin’s will continue to grow after its 16th store, and expects the number of stores to increase to 40-50.

He also explained that he knows LC Waikiki has approximately 40 stores in Egypt and Defacto has more than 20.

Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen explained that the main difference between these brands and all others is that they are also manufacturers with 100% Turkish capital. He stated that Egyptian consumers appreciate and value Turkish brands and brands produced in Turkey in terms of quality and price, and that such investments reflect a mutually beneficial relationship between the two countries, as some of these goods are produced in Egypt and encourage trade and economic integration between the two countries.
