The Center for Combating Disinformation, affiliated with the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, issued an official statement denying allegations circulated in certain media outlets and social media platforms claiming that Türkiye is threatening to invade Israel.

The statement emphasized that such claims are “groundless and do not reflect reality,” describing them as misleading information aimed at undermining regional stability and distorting Türkiye’s position on regional issues.

According to the statement, the Republic of Türkiye has consistently played a leading role—based on its long-standing traditions and diplomatic vision—in efforts to stop bloodshed, protect civilians, and promote lasting peace both in the region and globally.

The Center further noted that Türkiye prioritizes international law and diplomatic channels in addressing regional crises and conflicts, adopting an approach that seeks to reduce tensions rather than escalate them.

Under the leadership of the President, Türkiye continues to prioritize the peaceful, safe, and prosperous lives of people across the region without discrimination, the statement added.

The Center urged the public and media organizations not to rely on misleading content intended to misrepresent Türkiye’s humanitarian and principled stance, reaffirming that the country will remain a voice for justice, peace, and reason in the region.
