The magic of Latin American cinema illuminated the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences in a memorable evening that blended cultures, inspired young students, and paved the way for future academic and cultural cooperation.
The grand Fouad Sheriff Auditorium came alive with the enthusiasm of an audience celebrating the successful opening of the Latin American and Caribbean Film Cycle.

Prior to the public screening, ambassadors met with Dr. Mohamed Saleh Hashem, President of the Sadat Academy, and his leadership team.
The meeting explored proposals for educational cooperation, including language exchange programs, international internships, and joint research projects.
During the opening ceremony, Professor Yomna Azmi highlighted how this film cycle “materializes the dream of borderless education, where Spanish is learned not only in classrooms but also through the stories that unite us.”
Addressing the students, President Hashem added: “You are the heart of this institution. We work every day not only to prepare outstanding professionals, but also to help you become ambassadors of your culture and language in the world.”

Ambassador Barrientos celebrated the diversity and unifying power of cinema, stating: “Every film you will watch is a piece of our heart, a window into our realities, and a bridge connecting brotherly peoples.”
