Libyan Minister of Labor Praises Egypt Support for Reconstruction

The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Libyan government, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif Arhuma, stated that the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, the Libyan government, and the Development and Reconstruction Fund headed by Belqasim Haftar, are working in an organized and continuous manner to provide a decent life for the Libyan citizen in all parts of the country, as many cities, regions, villages, hospitals, schools, universities, and government institutions have been developed, in addition to sending batches of young people for training abroad and operating the stopped factories to provide job opportunities for Libyan youth and support the Libyan national economy.

He praised the reception of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, for Dr. Osama Hamad, Head of the Libyan Government, in the presence of Belqasim Haftar, Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya, and Eng. Hatem Al-Aribi, Chairman of the Reconstruction and Stability Committee, Director of the Medical Supply and Treatment Services Authority of the Libyan Government, at the government headquarters in the New Alamein City, where the Prime Minister stressed the full support for the brotherly Libyan people, and Egypt’s keenness to support and enhance bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields, noting the great role played by Egyptian companies in the reconstruction of Libya. This comes in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide all forms of support and assistance necessary for the brotherly Libyan people to mitigate the effects and repercussions of Hurricane Daniel, which hit the country last year.

The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Libyan government explained that security and safety facilitated the task of reconstruction and development. Perhaps the influx of international companies from all countries of the world, as well as official delegations, is the best evidence of the recovery of these regions from the rule of armed militias, and the security and economic situation has become excellent in front of the entire world.

It is noteworthy that Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, had met with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi last week, which reflects the centrality of the Egyptian role in supporting Libya’s stability, aiming to preserve its unity and territorial integrity, and rejecting foreign interference in Libyan affairs, in addition to Egyptian support for the formation of Libyan state institutions, through the agreement of Libyan political forces on an integrated political map leading to the holding of presidential and legislative elections.

The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Libyan government, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif Arhuma, also visited the headquarters of the industrial complex in the industrial zone in the city of 6th of October, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation with Eng. Haitham Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Workers Complex, the sustainable economic system, and signed a cooperation protocol to organize specialized training courses to qualify young job seekers, in addition to sending batches of Libyan youth for training in the fields of entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, crafts and operating stopped factories. Abdullah Al-Sharif Arhuma explained that the eastern and southern regions enjoy security, safety, stability and reconstruction thanks to God and then the Libyan Arab Armed Forces led by Field Marshal Khalifa, which cleansed these regions from the clutches of terrorism and militias and restored the citizen’s dignity and began to enjoy security and safety and began to rebuild many Libyan cities such as Benghazi, Derna, Al-Bayda, Tobruk, Salouq, Sirte, Sabha, Murzuq, Wadi Al-Shati and other Libyan cities, and some cities in the western region were supported.
