Cooperation between the Egyptian Workers Group and the National Authority for Quality Education

Within the framework of the fruitful strategic partnership with government institutions, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, affiliated to the Cabinet, Eng. Haitham Hussein, and the leaders of “Egypt Workers” received to discuss joint cooperation.

Eng. Hussein explained that expanding the areas of joint cooperation benefits the development of education and training in various sectors, and enhances the ability of human cadres to adapt to the requirements of the local and international labor market.

For his part, the Chairman of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education stressed the work on the professional and scientific development of workers in the industrial sector in particular to provide support to Egyptian industry, production, export and the Egyptian economy.

This comes as a pioneering positive step to support education and link it to the labor market, and within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives on the necessity of training and qualifying youth, investing in human capital and paying attention to the quality of education, Dr. Alaa Ashmawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, affiliated to the Cabinet, received Eng. Haitham Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Workers Complex and his accompanying delegation in general.

In light of this visit, Eng. Haitham Hussein stressed the role of the complex in developing and advancing the educational process and the necessity of adopting programs for industrial projects and establishing a department for managing engineering for industrial sectors that we need in the future and as a proposal to bring together Egyptian workers, emphasizing the importance of developing technical education in line with the vision of the political leadership to link education to the labor market in general.

During the visit, the services provided by the Egyptian Workers Complex in the field of training and vocational rehabilitation were discussed, including the protocols signed with universities and the various training programs provided to support the professional and scientific development of workers in the industrial sector in particular, in a new attempt between the two parties to support Egyptian industry and production in general.

The objectives of the national initiative that the Authority is working on to ensure the quality of education and develop the educational process in Egypt were also discussed.

The two parties expressed their desire to expand areas of joint cooperation in a way that benefits the development of education and training in various sectors, and enhances the ability of human cadres to adapt to the requirements of the local and international labor market.

It is worth noting that a delegation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education visited the complex at the end of last week to discuss efforts to enhance cooperation between the Authority and the industrial complex.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Alaa Ashmawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, Dr. Hesham Abdel Nasser, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Political Communication, Dr. Hussein Khater, Director of the Accreditation Department, Ms. Lobna Hussein, Director of Public Relations, Ms. Soham Saber, Director of the Office of the Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Political Communication, and Ms. Alaa Saeed, Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority. The visiting delegation from the complex was headed by Eng. Haitham Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Workers Complex, the Sustainable Industrial Economic System, and the delegation included Dr. Essam Amin, Training and Qualification Consultant at the complex, Dr. Hoda Bassiouni, Director of the Education and Scientific Research Sector, Dr. Ihab Soliman, Director of the Institutional Development and Quality Department, and the leaders of the Media and Marketing Office in general.
