With a spirit of pride, determination, and deep national devotion, Turkey today marks the 82nd anniversary of the founding of its Republic, reaffirming its continued progress on the path shaped by its founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Turkey’s Ambassador to Egypt, Salih Mutlu Şen, emphasized that the Turkish Republic, which was “reborn stronger under the leadership of the great Atatürk and within the framework of the Turkish nation-state,” has achieved remarkable development over 82 years, transitioning into a pluralistic democracy and advancing significantly in the fields of law, culture, education, economy, and social policies.
He highlighted the country’s robust national defense capabilities, noting that “our heroic army has secured its place among the leading armed forces of the world.” The ambassador also reaffirmed Turkey’s firm commitment to Atatürk’s enduring principle: “Peace at home, peace in the world.”
In his remarks, Ambassador Şen expressed profound respect and gratitude to the Republic’s founder Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his fellow pioneers, and the martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
