Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, attended the Christmas Mass held at the Egyptian Orthodox Church in the Omani capital, Muscat, on Monday evening, January 6, during his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
During his speech at the Mass, Minister Abdel Aati conveyed the greetings and congratulations of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Coptic community on the occasion of Christmas. The Minister stressed in his speech that Egypt was and will remain a model of coexistence and love among its people, inside and outside the country. He also expressed his deep appreciation for the role played by the Egyptian Orthodox Church in Oman, in Muscat and Salalah, in coordination with the embassy, in serving the Egyptian community in the Sultanate of Oman, looking after their interests and providing them with support.
The Mass was attended by a large number of members of the Egyptian community in the Sultanate. Minister Abdel Aati stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration places the interests of Egyptians abroad at the forefront of its priorities, pointing out the importance of continuing to enhance communication with Egyptian communities to provide them with all necessary support.
